How to use it
Let the music have one arc, and the picture another
Film music has to have a direction without deciding everything. The selection here does not take over your structure.
The paperwork is as much the product as the file
A festival, a distributor, and an insurer ask for paper. You get a licence certificate with an ID and a public verification page.
Television, cinema, and streaming services need a separate agreement
The standard licence covers the film when you or the client publish it yourselves, on your own channels. If the film will be shown on television, in a cinema, or on a streaming service, it needs a separate agreement. Write to mail@audioklang.com. We reply with a price.
The rights, in plain words
- Film, video, advertising film, and client work for an end client.
- A licence certificate with an ID. Credit is recommended, not required.
- For your own channels, client work, and the web. Not television, radio, cinema, or large streaming services.
For your own channels and client work. Not television, radio, cinema, streaming services, or large campaigns. Credit is recommended, not required. The licence does not replace a TONO or Gramo agreement for public performance.
Clearance without waiting for a publisher
Licensing known repertoire takes weeks and costs more than most short films have. Audioklang is not an alternative to that repertoire. It is a small catalogue you can clear the same evening.
Each track has its price, VAT included. The standard licence comes with the purchase. Television, radio, cinema, streaming services, and large campaigns need a separate agreement.
You get the master as WAV and MP3. Stems are not sold as their own product.
Questions
Can I use the track in a short film that is going to a festival?
Yes. Short film and student film at a festival are in the standard licence, as long as the film has no cinema distribution and has not been sold to television or a streaming service.
What does it cost?
The price is on each track and includes VAT. If you need background music for a whole film, a collection can be worth it. It has its own price.
Do I get stems?
Not as their own product in this version. You get WAV and MP3 of the master.
Which files do I get?
WAV 48 kHz / 24-bit and MP3 320, plus a licence PDF.
Can I register the track in Content ID myself?
No. You do not own the recording and cannot claim it as your own, including by registering it in Content ID or with TONO or Gramo.
Can I pass the file on so others can copy it?
No. The purchase is one paid version of the track. You may not let others copy the file.
Is this AI music?
Yes. The tracks are made with the help of artificial intelligence. Each track is listened through and chosen by hand. How the music is made.
