Version 2.5. Last updated 1 November 2026. A short explanation is on the licence page. This page is the agreement. The English and Norwegian texts say the same thing, except where Norwegian consumer law needs its own wording.

These terms apply when you buy a music file from Audioklang. Audioklang grants the licence. The company behind Audioklang is Vasser AS. You pay Polar. Polar is the seller of the payment and sends the payment receipt. The licence applies when Polar has confirmed the payment.
The terms apply to private persons and to companies. The rules on withdrawal in section 9 apply only to consumers, under Norwegian law.
You must be at least 18, or have a guardian’s consent where that is required.
You do not buy the copyright in the track. You buy a licence: a limited right to use the specific audio file you receive.
The licence is not exclusive. Others can buy the same track. You cannot transfer the licence to someone else as their own licence. A later exclusive agreement does not cancel a standard licence that has already been sold.
The licence is not exclusive. Audioklang may release the same track on streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music, on social media and in marketing. That does not change your licence. We do not register the tracks in Content ID or similar systems that could raise a claim against you. If you still get such a claim on a track you have a licence for, email mail@audioklang.com and we will help you get it taken down.
The tracks are made with the help of artificial intelligence. We do not guarantee that copyright arises in the track, or that any copyright is transferred to you. What you receive is the right to use the file within this licence.
Credit is recommended where it fits, for example “Music: Audioklang”. It is not required.
The standard licence is included in the price. It applies worldwide, for as long as you follow these terms. It covers your own channels and work you make for a client.
The purchase is one paid version of the track, and you may not let others copy the file.
You may:
When you make something for a client, the licence stays with you. The client may use the finished film, ad, or other production. The client does not get a separate right to the audio file, and cannot lift it out for a new project. A new project needs its own licence from Audioklang.
Write to mail@audioklang.com before you use the track in:
We reply with a price. Until that is agreed, the standard licence does not cover that use.
Whatever the licence, you cannot:
The licence gives you the rights Audioklang can give you to the file. It does not replace a duty you or the premises may have towards TONO or Gramo, or the equivalent in another country, when music is played in public. You check that yourself.
The price is on the track, in Norwegian kroner, US dollars, or euros. A price in kroner includes VAT. For dollars and euros, Polar calculates the tax at checkout. The amount Polar confirms is the amount you pay.
Polar’s receipt is the payment record. The licence certificate from Audioklang is the proof of the licence. It is not the payment receipt.
When the order is stored, Audioklang emails you the order number, the download link, and the licence. The email also confirms immediate delivery and the loss of the right of withdrawal, where that applies.
The file is delivered digitally, normally as soon as Polar confirms the payment. You download it from the order page. The link is in the email. There is no account.
Once the file is available, it is yours to keep.
If something fails, write to mail@audioklang.com. We fix a fault within a reasonable time.
This section follows the Norwegian cancellation act (angrerettloven). It applies to consumers. A company does not have this right.
As a consumer you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For a digital file that right ends when delivery has started, if:
At checkout you tick this yourself, before you pay. The box is not pre-ticked. If that consent is missing, you keep the right of withdrawal.
The sentence you tick is: “I ask for immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that, as a consumer, I then lose the right of withdrawal for this purchase.”
Where you can still withdraw, write to mail@audioklang.com within the deadline and include the order number. Then stop using the file, and do not share it. A refund of the card payment is made by Polar.
The file should match what the page describes: the format, and that it downloads and plays.
For a consumer, the Norwegian consumer purchase act applies to the digital content. For a company, these terms apply, and the sale of goods act as far as it fits.
If you find a fault, write to mail@audioklang.com within a reasonable time. Include the order number and a short description.
The rights in the Audioklang name, the design, and the site stay with Audioklang, apart from the licence in section 3. The purchase does not let you use the Audioklang name or logo, beyond the recommended credit.
We process personal data for the order, the delivery, customer service, and duties the law imposes, under the GDPR and the Norwegian Personal Data Act. The privacy notice says how.
For consumers we follow the consumer rules that cannot be waived. Beyond that, as far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, or loss that comes from use outside the licence, from a missing TONO or Gramo agreement on your side, or from a third-party platform, including Content ID, removal, or demonetisation.
We are not liable for a fault that comes from your device, your network, or other software.
The version in force when you bought applies to that purchase. A material change for later purchases is posted on the site or sent by email.
Norwegian law applies to the licence and to these terms. A dispute can be brought before the Norwegian courts. A consumer can also use the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) or the Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet). Polar’s terms apply to the payment.
