Music for a DJ set and training
You can play the track live, in a set or in a class. The price is on the track. Releasing it as your own record is not included.

What is included, and what is not
A paid gig is use of the licence, not a sale of the file. A mix on SoundCloud is fine when the track is one of several. Selling a recorded mix as a release — Bandcamp, Beatport, Spotify, a paid mix album — is outside.
A training class with an instructor is in the same licence: a running class, a group class, spinning. A gym that wants a bed in the changing room all day is closer to background in premises than to a class.
In practice, in the set and in the room
- Take WAV into the recorder or the DAW. MP3 is a spare, not the master you mix from.
- A training track can loop and hold a steady tempo. A DJ track can be cut.
- Do not register the mix as your own release. You do not own the recording, even when the track is one of several.
- Keep the licence ID in the folder or in the email to the booker. A festival and an insurer ask for paper.
Why buy it outright instead of mirroring a streaming service
A gym chain or a DJ playing from a private account is in the grey area. A purchase at the price on the track gives you the file on disk, and a certificate. It is more boring than a playlist. That is the point.
Questions
Can I play the track at a paid gig?
Yes. A live DJ mix is included. You get a right to play and mix, not to release or resell.
Can I put the mix on SoundCloud?
Yes, when the track is one of several in a mix. Do not upload the whole track on its own.
Does the licence cover the group class at the gym?
Yes, a training class with an instructor. Background music in the premises all day is also covered as use in premises. See hotel and lounge if that is the job.
What does it cost?
The price is on each track and includes VAT. You pay once, and the licence lasts.
